Job summary
The Stock Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the receiving, processing, organizing, and replenishment of inventory. The ideal candidate is responsible for ensuring smooth running of the daily store activity
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Not restricted to being a coordinator alone, must be able to sell, handle cash, and monitor inventory levels.
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries of sports merchandise (footwear, apparel, equipment).
- Monitor stock levels and identify slow-moving or out-of-stock items.
- Organize and maintain the stockroom, ensuring it is clean, safe, and efficient.
- Ensure the accuracy of incoming stock by counting and reconciling physically received goods against purchase orders.
Requirements:
- Minimum of HND or B.Sc. in a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience as a store manager or related role within retail (sporting goods or clothing preferred).
- Proficiency with inventory management systems, Point of Sale (POS) systems, and MS Office
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Oversee, guide, train, and motivate the store staff team( sales reps, cashiers) to work effectively and achieve sales targets.
Remuneration: NGN 120,000 monthly.
Location: Mokola, Ibadan
Job Type: Full-time; Mon - Saturday
