Site Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Support the Chief Engineer in end-to-end site supervision across residential, infrastructure, and limited commercial projects.
• Supervise construction of blocks of flats (up to five floors) and duplexes, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Oversee structural elements, including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, staircases, and retaining works.
• Manage and monitor soil-structure interactions typical to Lagos terrain, including pile/raft/shallow foundations where applicable.
• Coordinate estate infrastructure works such as internal roads, drains, walkways, utilities ducts, and external works.
• Supervise landscaping works, ensuring proper grading, drainage, softscape/hardscape integration, and visual orderliness.
• Ensure infrastructure and external works meet required aesthetic standards, finishes, and alignment with overall development vision.
• Assist in supervising commercial building components (e.g. office blocks, retail units) where applicable.
• Enforce clean, safe, and efficient site practices at all times.
• Supervise artisans, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure productivity and workmanship quality.
• Carry out quality inspections on materials and executed works.
• Prepare site reports, progress updates, and technical documentation.
• Support compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience
• Minimum of HND
