Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the entire process of social media video shooting, including scene planning, equipment debugging, lens design, on-site lighting arrangement and real-time adjustment.
- Independently or collaboratively complete the creative shooting of commercials, social media content (TikTok, Instagram Reels, etc.), documentaries and other projects.
- Optimise video composition and rhythm according to platform rules (such as YouTube Shorts, Boomplay and other mainstream African platforms) to improve content dissemination effects.
- Participate in post-production communication, provide original materials and assist the editing team to complete the film.
- Adapt to fast-paced work and be able to respond to the needs of instant shooting of emergencies or hot content.
Requirements:
- Proficient in professional video equipment (such as Sony A7 series, RED, etc.) and auxiliary tools (stabiliser, drone, lighting equipment, etc.).
- More than 1 year of short video or commercial photography experience, portfolio required (including local project cases in Lagos preferred).
- Familiar with Nigerian social media ecology and user preferences (such as Afrobeats music, local fashion culture).
- Fluent in English, with basic Hausa or Yoruba preferred (for communication with local teams and models).
- Self-provided basic shooting equipment, with emergency plans for power outages (such as backup power supply, offline storage devices).
- Hold a valid driver's license and be familiar with traffic in Lagos and the surrounding areas.
- Have a keen insight into African pop culture (such as Nollywood movies, local fashion trends), and be able to integrate traditional elements with modern styles.
- Have a team spirit and be able to communicate efficiently with directors, editors, and local KOLs.
- Adapt to high-intensity work (such as overtime or business trips during festivals and brand launches).
Bonus Points:
- Familiar with the Lagos Internet celebrity ecosystem and have experience in working with local KOLs.
- Master basic editing or special effects skills (such as After Effects).
- Have experience in cross-border projects or a cross-cultural content creation background.

Remuneration: NGN 250,000 - 300,000
