Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of various events from conception to completion.
- Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics to ensure all projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Oversee venue selection, vendor negotiations, and contract management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of their vision and objectives.
- Provide exceptional client service, manage expectations, and deliver results that exceed client satisfaction.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and provide insights for future improvements.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging creativity and innovative solutions.
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Monitor expenses and track financial performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and partnerships.
- Assist in the development of event branding and promotional materials.
- Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all logistical details are executed as planned
- Manage on-site staff and volunteers, providing direction and support during events.
- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to address challenges that may arise before or during events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in event planning and management, with a strong portfolio of successful events.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in event management software and tools
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.

Remuneration: NGN 800,000
