Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Secure the premises by patrolling assigned areas, monitoring surveillance equipment, and inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.
- Control entry and exit points to allow authorized personnel and visitors while preventing unauthorized access.
- Prevent losses and damage by identifying and reporting irregular activities, enforcing company policies, and restraining intruders or trespassers when necessary.
- Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly, contacting relevant authorities as required.
- Complete detailed reports by recording daily activities, observations, incidents, and interviews with witnesses.
- Manage on-site traffic by directing drivers and ensuring safe vehicle movement within the premises.
- Monitor and manage building and equipment controls to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Uphold the organization's reputation by ensuring full compliance with legal and security regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a security officer or in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to operate surveillance systems and emergency equipment.
- Strong observational, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Good physical condition and ability to patrol for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
