Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Secondary School Principal to lead and manage the academic and administrative functions of our secondary school. The ideal candidate must be passionate about quality education, committed to student development, and capable of creating a dynamic learning environment aligned with global best practices. This role requires strong leadership, curriculum expertise (particularly in the British system), and the ability to foster trust among students, staff, and parents.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and instructional leadership to promote academic excellence and holistic student development.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, including staff supervision, curriculum implementation, discipline, and resource management.
  • Lead teacher recruitment, training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure the delivery of the British curriculum and integration of 21st-century teaching methodologies.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for students and staff.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, staff, and the wider school community.
  • Ensure compliance with educational standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous professional development (CPD) and school improvement initiatives.
  • Represent the school at official events and serve as a liaison with external stakeholders and education authorities.


Requirements:

  • B.Ed. degree (PGDE or M.Ed. an added advantage)
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience as Principal or Vice Principal
  • Passionate about secondary school education and up-to-date with best practices
  • Loves working with children and trusted by parents
  • Experience with the British curriculum
  • Strong computer skills (21st-century teacher)
  • CPD training and leadership experience
  • Available to resume by September 2025
