Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day school operations, supervise teaching and non-teaching staff, and provide strong academic leadership.
- Ensure effective teaching and learning by overseeing curriculum delivery and compliance with national education standards (e.g., the Nigerian National Curriculum).
- Recruit, train, evaluate, and support staff development and performance.
- Promote student well-being, enforce discipline, and maintain a safe and inclusive school environment.
- Foster positive relationships with parents, the School-Based Management Committee (SBMC), and the broader community.
- Handle school records, budgeting, and procurement, and ensure accountability in resource management.
- Monitor academic performance, evaluate teaching methods, and implement school improvement plans.
- Ensure adherence to policies of the Federal or State Ministry of Education and relevant examination bodies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience
- BSc. Degree in a relevant course of study
