Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and counseling services to students, addressing their academic, social, and emotional needs
- Develop and implement guidance and counseling programs to support student development
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to identify and support students' needs
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions, workshops, and seminars
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and counseling services
- Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures related to guidance and counseling
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Guidance and Counseling, or a related field
- Teaching qualification (NCE, B.Ed, or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a teacher
- Experience as a Head of School or Administrator an added advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong counseling and guidance skills
- Ability to work with students, teachers, and parents
- Strong organizational and time management skills
