Job summary
The Sales Officer is responsible for driving business growth by sourcing new customers, marketing the Bank’s products and services, mobilizing deposits, and ensuring loan generation targets are achieved. The role requires strong relationship management skills, aggressive marketing strategies, and a customer-focused approach to enhance profitability
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to achieve assigned sales targets.
- Market and promote the Bank’s products, including savings accounts, fixed deposits, loans, and other financial services.
- Mobilize deposits from individuals, SMEs, corporate organizations, and groups.
- Generate quality loan leads and support credit processing in collaboration with the Credit Department.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and repeat business.
- Conduct field marketing, client visits, and community engagement activities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in promotional campaigns, product launches, and sales drives.
- Follow up on delinquent accounts in collaboration with the Credit/Recovery team.
Requirements:
- Minimum BSC
- 1 year of previous experience in a similar role
