Responsibilities:
Revenue & Target Achievement:
- Secure a minimum of 5 million Naira in sales revenue every month.
- Convert cold prospects into active, paying commercial clients.
- Negotiate high-volume contract terms to maximize profit margins.
- Track individual sales pipelines daily to ensure target consistency.
Client Relationship Management:
- Manage key client accounts to ensure brand loyalty.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries or complaints promptly.
- Upsell and crossell product portfolios to existing networks.
- Ensure full, timely payment collection from all accounts.
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
- Analyze competitor pricing, promotions, and market presence.
- Submit detailed weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
- Maintain clean client records within the company CRM.
- Identify emerging market trends to pitch new strategies.
Territory & Field Operations:
- Conduct daily field visits and cold calls to prospects.
- Represent the company at trade exhibitions and networking events.
- Deliver persuasive product presentations to corporate executives.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize field campaigns.
Requirements:
- A minimum of an HND in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of active field sales experience.
- Documented history of meeting high-volume financial sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, pitching, and deal-closing skills.
- Deep knowledge of the local retail and corporate market.
- Mastery of CRM platforms and Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent verbal and written business communication.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to handle client rejection.
