Job summary
The Retail Trade Representative is responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring product availability, and maintaining strong relationships with retail outlets. The role involves visiting assigned stores, merchandising products, monitoring stock levels, and executing trade marketing activities to maximize brand visibility and sales

Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Achieve assigned sales targets within the designated territory
- Identify new retail outlets and onboard them
- Promote company products and secure orders from retailers
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback
Merchandising & Brand Visibility:
- Ensure proper product display in stores according to company standards
- Implement promotional and trade marketing activities
- Maintain clean, organized, and attractive product shelves
- Ensure correct pricing and visibility of all products
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store owners and managers
- Address retailer concerns and resolve issues promptly
- Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
Inventory & Stock Management:
- Monitor stock levels in stores and prevent stock-outs
- Coordinate with distributors to ensure timely product delivery
- Track product movement and report slow/fast-moving items
Reporting & Administration:
- Submit daily/weekly sales and activity reports
- Maintain accurate records of visits, orders, and collections (if applicable)
- Provide feedback on market trends and customer preferences
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in FMCG or retail sales
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good knowledge of the local market and retail landscape
- Ability to work independently and meet targets
- Basic understanding of merchandising principles
