Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Source and evaluate suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for goods and services.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and quality standards.
- Review and compare quotations to identify the most cost-effective options.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with vendors.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Assist in preparing purchasing reports and budget forecasts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software (e.g., ERP systems).
- Good understanding of market trends, supplier management, and cost analysis.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
