A Logistics & Warehouse Assistant in a pharmaceutical company supports the storage, handling, and distribution of pharmaceutical products. The role ensures proper inventory management, safe storage conditions, and timely dispatch of products while complying with pharmaceutical regulatory standards.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

  • Receive and record incoming pharmaceutical products.
  • Verify quantities and product conditions upon delivery.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory systems.
  • Ensure pharmaceutical products are stored according to recommended conditions.
  • Arrange products properly in the warehouse to prevent damage or contamination.
  • Monitor expiry dates and batch numbers to ensure proper stock rotation (e.g., FEFO – First Expiry, First Out).
  • Pick products according to sales or delivery orders.
  • Pack pharmaceutical products safely to prevent damage during transportation.
  • Prepare delivery notes and dispatch documentation.
  • Assist in coordinating the delivery of products to customers such as pharmacies, hospitals, and distributors.
  • Work with logistics personnel to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Confirm dispatched items against delivery orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
  • Ensure shelves, storage areas, and pallets are properly arranged.
  • Assist in periodic stock counts and inventory audits.
  • Ensure that warehouse operations comply with pharmaceutical regulations from the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of regulated pharmaceutical products.
  • Maintain proper documentation for product traceability.


Requirements:

  • No experience needed 
  • Minimum of a Diploma

  • Accuracy of stock records.
  • Timely order picking and dispatch.
  • Reduction in inventory discrepancies.
  • Compliance with storage standards.
  • Efficiency during stock audits.
