We seek to hire a male Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation: Conduct detailed cost estimates for construction projects, considering materials, labour and other relevant factors. Analyse project specifications and contractual terms to develop accurate cost projections
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with cost estimates and financial objectives. Monitor project expenditures, track variances, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Quantity Surveying: Measure and value the work done on-site, ensuring accurate and timely valuation of project progress. Prepare and negotiate variations, claims, and settlement of final accounts(installer)
- Project Management: Apply project management methodologies to plan, execute, and close construction projects. Lead a cross-functional project team, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Contract Administration: Administer construction contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions. Evaluate and negotiate contract changes. claims and disputes
- Shareholder Communication: Maintain effective communication channels with project teams, clients, and contractors. Provide regular updates on project costs, financial performance, and potential risks
- Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality assurance processes cost to related management. Ensure that project costs align with quality standards and clients' expectations.
Requirements:
- HND/B.Sc in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Preferably male
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Professional Certification in Quantity Surveying or Project Management is an added advantage
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with additional experience in Project Management
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Office packages
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in cost-estimating software and project management tools
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- A strong knowledge of Microsoft suites, especially Excel
- Ability to lead and collaborate within cross-functional project teams
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimations
- Adaptable to changing project requirements and priorities
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Remuneration: NGN 200,000
