Primary and Nursery School Teacher

Responsibilites:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and Christian ethos.
• Utilize innovative teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs and ensure academic excellence.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress through assessments, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Integrate Christian teachings and principles into daily lessons and activities.
• Model Christlike behaviour in interactions with students and colleagues.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
• Address behavioral issues with patience and understanding, emphasizing restorative practices aligned with Christian values.
• Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, administrators, and parents to support students’ holistic development.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and maintain high standards of competency.
• Organize and supervise extracurricular activities, school events, and games.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students in all school activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a related field, National Certificate in Education (NCE).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary or nursery school setting
• Experience in a faith-based institution is a plus.
• A practicing Christian with a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and an active member of a Christian church.
