Physical & Health Education (PHE) Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging physical education lessons that align with curriculum standards.
• Instruct students on proper exercise techniques, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyle habits.
• Organize and supervise physical activities, sports events, and tournaments.
• Assess and evaluate students' performance and progress in physical education.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and teamwork.
• Integrate health education topics, such as nutrition, hygiene, and mental well-being, into the curriculum.
• Provide guidance and support to students in achieving their physical fitness goals.
• Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate school-wide fitness initiatives and events.
• Stay updated on current trends and best practices in physical and health education.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience post-NYSC
• Proven experience in teaching physical education at the secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of physical fitness, sports, and health-related topics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to lead healthy and active lifestyles.
