Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver structured PHE lessons aligned with curriculum standards and school objectives.
- Promote physical fitness, healthy habits, and sportsmanship among students.
- Organize and supervise physical education activities, sports events, and health awareness programs.
- Monitor and evaluate student performance and progress in physical activities.
- Encourage active participation while ensuring student safety during physical education classes.
- Maintain classroom discipline and manage equipment and facilities effectively.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school administrators to enhance the educational experience.
- Prepare and submit lesson plans, progress reports, and relevant teaching documentation.
- Use technology to support teaching and track student learning outcomes.
Requirements:
- Relevant teaching qualifications and experience
- A passion for working with young learners
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Minimum Education: NCE, ND, HND, B.Ed, B.Sc, PGDE.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of working experience in a similar role
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Abilities
- Excellent technological skills
- Proximity will be an added advantage
