Job Description/Requirements
- Teach students to play various musical instruments with proficiency, focusing on both individual and group lessons.
- Develop and lead school choirs and orchestras, fostering teamwork and musical excellence.
- Plan and execute musical performances and events, ensuring high-quality presentations that highlight students' talents.
- Prepare and guide students for local and national music competitions, aiming to achieve top honors.
- Educate students on music theory and its practical applications, enhancing their overall understanding and appreciation of music.
- Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for music.
- Evaluate student progress through practical and theoretical assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their musical growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in playing and teaching multiple musical instruments.
- Experience in forming and directing choirs and orchestras.
- Strong organisational skills for planning performances and events.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proven track record of success in music competitions is an advantage.
