Job Summary
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the Monitoring and Evaluation framework of the organization's projects. This role requires the development and execution of strategies to collect, analyze, and interpret project data to measure progress, impact, and overall project effectiveness. The M&E will report to the Executive Director

Leadership Initiative For Youth Empowerment (LIFE) is a youth-focused organization committed to empowering young individuals especially girls and vulnerable females through various programs and initiatives. Responsibilities:
Developing and Implementing M&E Framework:
- Create and execute a comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation framework aligned with organizational objectives and donor requirements.
- Develop M&E plans, including methodologies, tools, and indicators for project monitoring and evaluation.
Data Collection and Analysis:
- Design and implement data collection tools and methodologies for monitoring project activities.
- Coordinate the collection, analysis, and interpretation of project data to measure progress and impact.
Field Visits and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular field visits to project sites to monitor activities, gather data, and ensure project quality and compliance with set standards.
Documentation and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure proper documentation of lessons learned, best practices, and challenges encountered during project implementation.
- Work closely with project teams to facilitate the integration of M&E findings into project planning and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with the program officer
Reporting:
- Lead the preparation and submission of comprehensive M&E reports to donors, stakeholders, and management within set deadlines.
Learning and Improvement:
- Facilitate regular learning and reflection sessions with project staff to identify areas for improvement and enhance project effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Development Studies, Social Sciences, Economics, etc.).
- Proven experience in designing and implementing M&E systems in the context of development projects, preferably within the NGO sector.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis, using various tools and software.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting field visits and liaising with multiple stakeholders.
Remuneration: NGN 120,000 monthly
