Mathematics Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Plan and Deliver Engaging Lessons: Develop and implement a well-structured mathematics curriculum that aligns with educational standards and caters to the needs of diverse learners. Create engaging lesson plans and instructional materials to foster active learning in the classroom.
• Teach Mathematical Concepts: Effectively communicate complex mathematical concepts and theories in a clear and understandable manner. Utilize a variety of teaching methods, such as lectures, group discussions, and hands-on activities, to enhance students' understanding.
• Assess and Evaluate Student Progress: Regularly assess and evaluate students' comprehension of mathematical concepts through quizzes, tests, projects, and assignments. Provide constructive feedback to students and identify areas where additional support may be required.
• Encourage Critical Thinking: Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students by presenting real-life applications of mathematical principles and encouraging them to analyze and solve problems independently.
• Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes mutual respect and encourages student participation. Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and orderly learning space.
• Use Technology in Teaching: Integrate technology and educational tools into the teaching process to enhance learning outcomes. Utilize interactive software, educational apps, and online resources to enrich the mathematics learning experience.
• Collaborate with Colleagues and Parents: Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members to share best practices and ensure a cohesive educational experience. Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's academic progress.

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or any related discipline 
• Minimum of 4 years of proven work experience
• Excellent interpersonal and people skills
