Legal Associate

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth legal research on corporate, regulatory, and commercial matters.
• Draft and review commercial agreements (NDAs, service agreements, JVAs, shareholders’ agreements, etc.).
• Draft and review real estate documentation (Deeds of Assignment, Leases, etc.).
• Assist in corporate restructuring and capital raising transactions.
• Prepare legal opinions and advisory memoranda.
• Conduct property due diligence and verification.
• Prepare and file perfection documents.
• Draft board minutes and corporate documentation.
• Support regulatory compliance and statutory filings.
• Assist in developing governance frameworks and internal policies.
• Interface professionally with clients and regulatory agencies.
• Participate in transaction discussions and client meetings.
• Contribute to business development and internal knowledge-sharing sessions.

Requirements:

Educational Qualification:

• LL.B and B.L.
• 2–4 years post-qualification experience.
• Strong exposure to corporate and commercial drafting.

Advantage:

• Membership of ICSAN (or demonstrable experience in company secretarial practice).
