Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Participate in depositions and court hearings.
- Develop and implement case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
- Review and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations applicable to cases.
- Manage discovery processes, including document production and interrogatories.
- Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit organization.
- Maintain client communications and provide regular updates on case progress.
- Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution methods.
- Prepare legal correspondence and maintain thorough case files.
- Attend client meetings and provide legal advice.
- Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have at least 3 years post-call experience in litigation and corporate/commercial practice from a recognised firm or organisation.
- Strong writing and communication skills, along with attention to detail.
