Job summary
The Legal Officer is responsible for providing legal support and guidance to the organization on day-to-day legal matters. The role involves reviewing and drafting contracts and legal documents, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, managing legal records, and identifying potential legal risks to the company.

Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on contracts, agreements, letters, notices, and other legal documents.
- Advise on intellectual property matters, including copyright, trademark, and patent strategy.
- Liaise with external lawyers, solicitors, barristers, government agencies, regulators, and other relevant authorities on behalf of the company.
- Ensure compliance with global data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Support product development teams with legal guidance on open-source software usage and third-party integrations.
- Manage legal risks related to cybersecurity, AI, and emerging technologies.
- Liaise with external counsel on litigation, regulatory issues, and complex transactions.
- Develop and maintain internal policies on ethics, compliance, and contract management.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of BSc.
- 1 year of previous experience in a similar role.
