Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee various aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and according to specifications.
- Provide technical advice and support to construction crews and subcontractors, ensuring that engineering principles are applied correctly.
- Manage and supervise site staff, including labourers and subcontractors, to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Conduct regular inspections of the construction site to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
- Prepare estimates for time and material costs and monitor project budgets to avoid overruns.
- Compile reports on project progress, issues, and forecasts for stakeholders, including clients and project managers.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and other professionals to ensure project requirements are met and to resolve any issues that arise.
Requirements:
- HND/bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a site engineer in construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to effectively coordinate with project teams and stakeholders
Remuneration: NGN 350,000 - 400,000
