Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design layouts for Inside Success digital magazines (quarterly).
- Create promotional materials for events, webinars, livestreams, and online courses.
- Develop social media content such as carousels, reels, thumbnails, posters, and memes (especially for UGotJokesTV).
- Design and optimize banners and assets for websites and affiliate shops.
- Work closely with editorial, marketing, and web teams to ensure coordinated content across platforms.
- Ensure all visuals are on-brand, optimized for multiple platforms, and meet publication standards.
Requirements:
Experience with design software:
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign—especially for magazine layouts)
- Canva (for quick-turnaround social content and team collaborations)
- Figma or Adobe XD (for UI/UX mockups and website visuals)
- After Effects or CapCut/Canva Pro (for basic motion graphics like video teasers or intros)
Other Tools:
- Google Drive or Dropbox (for file sharing and version control)
- Slack, Trello, or Asana (for team communication and project tracking)
- WeTransfer or similar tools (for large file transfers)
Creative Skills:
- Strong eye for typography, spacing, and composition
- Solid understanding of branding and maintaining a consistent visual identity
- Ability to adapt designs to Afrofuturist themes, Gen Z humor, and formal corporate branding when needed
- Capable of fast turnarounds without compromising quality
Bonus Skills:
- Animation or motion graphics for video intros and outros
- Photography and photo editing
- Experience working with print formats and specifications
