Responsibilities:
- Strategic Vision: Define and execute a robust channel strategy, setting long-term goals, go-to-market strategies, and key performance indicators to ensure our YouTube presence thrives in the digital landscape.
- Content Curation: Curate and manage channel content, from riveting live-stream events to engaging digital media assets, while orchestrating impactful social media marketing campaigns.
- Video Creation: Create and promote compelling video content that captivates audiences and sparks conversations, elevating our news stories to a new level of storytelling brilliance.
- Community Development: Foster a thriving channel community, coordinating channel moderators, and marketing managers, and collaborating with our network of channel partners to enhance engagement.
- Channel Governance: Enforce channel policies and guidelines, ensuring our content adheres to ethical standards and aligns with the values of our organization.
- Marketing Strategy: Devise innovative channel marketing strategies and implement tactical approaches, utilizing paid and organic search, social media, and display advertising to expand our viewership.
- Communication Mastery: Oversee channel communications through various channels, including social media, blogs, and other owned/earned/paid media, to maintain a strong and connected audience.
- Analytical Insights: Employ channel business analytics to gather insightful data, generate reports, conduct analysis, and optimize video performance for continuous improvement.
- Budget Management: Develop and execute a channel budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maximize the impact of our content.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, communications, e-commerce, or a related field, providing you with a strong foundation in the digital realm.
- 5 years of experience in marketing, ideally within an agency or in-house environment, honing your expertise in social media marketing across paid and organic channels.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, to analyze data and craft compelling presentations that showcase your video strategies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to effectively convey impactful messages to our audience.
- Creative flair storytelling enables you to craft visually stunning and emotionally resonant stories that leave a lasting impression.
- Excellent time management and project management skills to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining top-notch quality.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, fostering a creative and inclusive environment where ideas flourish.
- A journalism experience is a big advantage
