Job Description/Requirements

  • Cultural Context: Educate students about French culture, customs, history, and societal norms.
  • French Literature: Introduce iconic French literary works, authors, and literary movements to foster language skills and cultural understanding.
  • Assessment: Evaluate students' language proficiency through assessments, exams, assignments, and oral presentations.


Requirements:

  • Language Proficiency: Native or near-native fluency in French is essential, along with a strong grasp of grammar and vocabulary.
  • Teaching Background: A degree in Education, French Language, and Literature, or a related field, along with teaching certification, is valuable.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to convey language concepts, cultural nuances, and literary themes effectively to diverse learners.
  • Cultural Knowledge: Deep understanding of French culture, history, customs, and contemporary society.
