Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement an engaging and comprehensive fine arts curriculum for high school students.
- Teach various techniques and styles in visual arts, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and other forms of artistic expression.
- Foster a creative and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to explore their artistic talents and express themselves.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students on their artistic projects and assignments.
- Organize and participate in art exhibitions, showcases, and events to highlight students' work and talents.
- Collaborate with other art teachers and faculty members to integrate art into cross-curricular projects and activities.
- Stay updated on current trends and developments in the field of fine arts education.
- Mentor and support students interested in pursuing higher education or careers in the arts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fine Arts or a related field.
- Prior teaching experience, preferably at the secondary school level.
- Proven track record with portfolio
- Strong artistic portfolio showcasing expertise in various forms of visual arts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for art education and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Patience and the ability to work with students of varying skill levels.
