Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Teach English Language and Literature, ensuring students develop a comprehensive understanding and skills in both areas.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with educational standards and address the needs of all students.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and exams.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active student engagement and participation.
- Support students in enhancing their language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, and essay writing.
- Organize and participate in extracurricular activities related to English and Literature.
- Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding students’ progress and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- A B.Ed. in English Language, Literature, or a related field OR National Certificate in Education (NCE) in English Language or Literature.
- 1-2 years of teaching experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of the English Language and Literature curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students in their study of English and Literature.
