Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic English/Literature Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate must have a passion for teaching, reading, and writing, and be committed to helping students develop strong communication and critical thinking skills through the study of English language and literature.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- You must be able to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English and Literature lessons in accordance with the school curriculum and academic standards.
- Teach reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, creative writing, literary analysis, and oral communication.
- Introduce students to a wide range of literary genres, authors, and historical contexts based on WAEC, NECO and JAMB standards
- Guide students in analysing texts, developing arguments, and writing essays and reports.
- Encourage classroom discussions to deepen understanding and appreciation of literature.
- Maintain an organised, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary lessons and participate in school-wide events.
- Stay current with educational best practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
- Experience preparing students for standardised exams (e.g., WAEC, IGCSE, NECO, JAMB)..
- Passion for mentoring students in debate, public speaking, or creative writing
- Must live in Ejigbo or Shasha or Akowonjo.
- Must be punctual, fluent in English language and be flexible with time.
- Must dress corporately.
- You must not use perfumes or scented deodorant while at the place of work.
