Job Description/Requirements
- Develop, test, and maintain scripts ranging from basic data logic to complex backend workflows that support enterprise systems.
- Write, debug, and optimise SQL scripts to implement complex backend logic, including transactions, stored procedures, triggers, and business rule automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse business processes and translate them into efficient coded solutions.
- Participate in debugging, performance tuning, and logic validation exercises.
- Document processes, data flows, and business rules for transparency and maintenance.
- Continuously learn new approaches to data modelling, scripting, and process automation.
- Support knowledge sharing by preparing and delivering training sessions and demonstrations for different audiences
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer Science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving ability.
- Working knowledge of SQL as well as at least one structured programming language.
- Understanding of databases, data relationships, and programming fundamentals (loops, conditions, and functions).
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Exposure to application or database development projects (school or internship).
- Familiarity with data analytics concepts and process automation scripting.
- Curiosity about how business data flows through systems.
