Cybersecurity Tutor

• Facilitate remote cybersecurity training sessions every Saturday.
• Teach core cybersecurity concepts including information security fundamentals, threat analysis, and risk management.
• Introduce learners to network security, system security, and basic cloud security concepts.
• Train learners on common cyber threats such as malware, phishing, social engineering, and ransomware.
• Guide learners on security best practices, policies, and incident response procedures.
• Introduce basic ethical hacking concepts, vulnerability assessment, and security testing tools (where applicable).
• Prepare lesson plans, presentations, hands-on labs, and real-world case studies.
• Assess learner understanding through practical exercises and assignments.
• Provide mentorship, feedback, and learning support throughout the program.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve training content and delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of security principles, network fundamentals, and cyber risk management.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and concepts such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, or similar.
• Professional certifications such as CEH, Security+, CISSP, CISM, or related certifications are an added advantage.
• Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complex security concepts in a clear and practical manner.
• Reliable availability for 6-hour Saturday sessions throughout the 8–10 week program.

Duration: 8–10 weeks (Saturdays only)

Working Hours: 6 hours per session (per facilitator)

Remuneration: NGN 150,000 (data allowance inclusive)
