Job summary
A company in the travel and tourism industry based in Lagos is looking for a Client Relations & Operations Coordinator to join its team. This is a dual-function role that sits at the intersection of client communication and back-office administration, ideal for someone who is organised, people-oriented, and eager to grow within the travel industry

Responsibilities:
Client Relations:
- Serving as the first point of contact for client enquiries — via phone, email, and WhatsApp
- Following up with clients on bookings, documentation requirements, and travel updates
- Sending reminder communications and post-travel follow-ups
- Managing client records and ensuring information is accurately captured
- Escalating complex client matters to the relevant consultant promptly
- General office administration and correspondence management
- Document preparation, filing, and records management
- Supporting the team with scheduling, coordination, and logistics
- Data entry and maintenance of client and booking records in Excel and Google Sheets
- Assisting with supplier and vendor correspondence where required
- Submitting structured daily activity reports
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a client-facing, administrative, or operations role
- Excellent written and verbal communication: professional, warm, and clear
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace — particularly Excel and Google Sheets
- Close attention to detail in documentation and correspondence
- Proactive and self-driven: follows through without needing constant reminders
- A positive, professional disposition in all client interactions
- Background or experience in the travel and tourism industry is an advantage but not required
