Job summary
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to own revenue growth by selling Techspecialist's digital transformation portfolio, with IT sales expertise combined with product management thinking. Reports directly to the Leadership Team.

Responsibilities:
IT Sales & Revenue:
- Own the full B2B sales cycle from prospecting to close.
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline across all client sectors.
- Meet quarterly revenue targets for digital products and services.
Digital Transformation Sales:
- Lead client conversations on cloud, ERP/CRM, and enterprise digitisation.
- Craft tailored proposals that align Techspecialist's capabilities to client needs.
Product & Go-to-Market:
- Apply product management thinking to service packaging and pricing strategy.
- Feed field insights into product development and offering roadmaps.
Market Intelligence:
- Track competitor positioning, trends, and growth opportunities in IT services.
- Deliver concise briefs to leadership to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements:
- BSc in Business, IT, Marketing, or related field.
- MBA / postgraduate degree is an advantage.
- Product Management certification (CSPO/CPM) — strong advantage.
- PMP / PRINCE2 — welcome addition.
- Proficient experience in IT/technology sales.
- Proven record in selling digital transformation — cloud, ERP/CRM, managed services, or e-governance.
- Product management experience — go-to-market, positioning, and roadmap contribution.
- B2B sales across government, private sector, and/or NGO clients.
- Skills
- Commercial acumen — pricing, margins, deal structuring.
- Executive-level communication, written and verbal.
- Data-driven; tracks pipeline health and conversion metrics.
- Proposal and concept note writing
