Business Development Executives
Job summary
We are looking for motivated and results-driven Business Development Executives to join our fast-growing eCommerce platform. In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding vendors, and building strong vendor relationships. This is a remote role with strong earning potential through commissions tied to performance.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Lead generation: Identify, approach and onboard businesses that can sell products on our platform.
- Educate vendors on the platform's value proposition and business plans.
- Convert vendors to paid subscription plans and ensure plan renewals.
- Support vendors with product onboarding, including item uploads, pricing, and optimisation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor enquiries and day-to-day support.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with vendors.
- Ensure vendors remain active, compliant, and productive on the platform.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve vendor-related issues.
- Continuously identify opportunities to grow vendor revenue and platform performance.
- Achieve and surpass monthly vendor subscription targets.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, account management, or vendor management (preferably in e-commerce or tech platforms).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple vendors simultaneously and meet monthly targets.
- Basic understanding of online marketplaces, digital products, or e-commerce operations.
- Comfortable working with targets and commission-based compensation.
- Reliable internet access and the ability to work remotely.
- Natural salespeople who are confident in pitching and closing deals.
- People who are motivated by commissions and performance rewards.
- Self-starters who don't need micromanagement.
- Strong communicators who can convince business owners to partner with us.
- Comfortable reaching out to businesses and building relationships
- Experience in sales, business development, or marketing is a plus.
