FoodandVeggies Mart is a healthy lifestyle brand that helps Nigerian families eat better one meal at a time. We make fresh fruits and vegetables convenient: washed, cut, and ready for your kitchen. Our flagship channel is owned kiosks near major supermarkets in Port Harcourt, supported by home delivery, subscriptions, and B2B catering. We are pre-launch. Everything is being built from scratch — the kiosks, the production, the customer base, the team. Job descriptions & requirements
- Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports
- Record daily financial transactions accurately
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Prepare tax returns and ensure tax compliance
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting
- Support internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information
- An HND in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, Excel)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organizational skills
- CPA, CMA, or other professional accounting certification
- Experience with financial reporting and budgeting
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Typically works in an office setting
- May work independently or as part of a finance team
- Standard business hours with occasional overtime during audits or tax season
