Architect

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed, sustainable, and functional building designs using CAD software and 3D modeling tools.
• Meet with clients to define project requirements, goals, and budgets.
• Prepare building plans, blueprints, and specifications for contractors and construction teams.
• Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.
• Visit construction sites to inspect progress, ensure adherence to plans, and resolve on-site issues.
• Liaise with engineers, interior designers, and consultants to integrate structural and electrical systems. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Architecture from a recognized institution
• Minimum of 2 – 5 years post-NYSC experience in architectural design within the real estate or property development sector
• ARCON or COREN registered is an added advantage
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, and other architectural visualization tools
• Strong understanding of property development processes, from concept design to construction and finishing
• Ability to prepare architectural drawings, layouts, working drawings, and presentation models
• Familiarity with real estate market trends, building regulations, and environmental standards
• Excellent design creativity, spatial planning, and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills; able to collaborate with engineers, quantity surveyors, and project managers
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within set timelines and budgets
