Role Description The Team Lead role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos. This role oversees a team of HR and career consulting professionals, providing guidance, setting priorities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients. Daily responsibilities include supervising project execution, coordinating client engagements, reviewing team outputs, and ensuring adherence to company standards and timelines. The Team Lead will facilitate team meetings, support performance management, and collaborate with leadership to refine processes and service offerings. This role also involves direct client interaction, including needs assessment, solution design, and regular progress reporting.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong team leadership and people management skills, including the ability to coach, mentor, and motivate team members.
- Candidates should possess project management and organizational skills, with experience coordinating multiple client engagements and meeting deadlines.
- Candidates should possess client relationship management and communication skills, including stakeholder engagement, presentation, and negotiation capabilities.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess client HR challenges and propose practical, data-informed solutions.
- Candidates should possess HR and talent management knowledge, such as experience with recruitment, performance management, employee development, or career coaching.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., HR or coaching) are an advantage.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role within HR consulting, recruitment, or a related professional services environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Lagos, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and adapt to varying client needs and industry contexts.
