Business Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyse data from operational, commercial, financial, customer, and technology systems.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance trackers for management and departmental teams.
  
• Monitor key business metrics, including order volumes, delivery completion rates, turnaround time, revenue, customer retention, fleet utilization, and service performance.
  
• Identify trends, performance gaps, risks, and growth opportunities and provide practical recommendations.
  
• Translate business requirements into measurable indicators, analytical reports, and data-driven solutions.
  
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Finance, Customer Support, and Technology teams to improve data accuracy and reporting.
  
• Conduct customer, market, pricing, service, and profitability analyses to support business planning.
  
• Automate recurring reports and improve the efficiency and reliability of reporting processes.
  
• Maintain data integrity by identifying and resolving inconsistencies, duplication, and reporting errors.
  
• Present findings and recommendations to management through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  
• Prepare periodic business performance reports and carry out other analytical duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• An HND in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, data analysis, performance reporting, or a similar role.
  
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, data cleaning, and analysis.
  
• Practical experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or another data visualization tool.
  
• Working knowledge of SQL and experience extracting and analyzing data from databases.
  
• Strong analytical, numerical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  
• Ability to interpret business needs and translate data into clear, actionable insights.
  
• Experience analyzing logistics, e-commerce, marketplace, financial, or technology data is an advantage.
  
• Excellent written, verbal, reporting, and presentation skills.
  
• Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, confidentiality, and accountability.
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
