Social Media Manager

Responsibilities:

• Forge a Strong knowledge of Perfume Industry news and social media trends
• Strategize and implement Social Media Campaigns to boost sales and brand engagement
• Develop a consistent brand across all social media platforms
• Craft a Content Calendar
• Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
• Design original posts, tweets and pins according to the content calendar
• Host monthly community engagement events through social pages
• Answer Customer questions on social pages daily
• Monitor KPI Progress using Google Analytics
• Communicate Metrics progress to stakeholders
• Identify potential pitfalls in social strategy or content and adjust future plans accordingly
• Build relationship with followers through consistent communication via comments, retweets, likes and more
• Promoting products, services and content over social media, in a way that is consistent with an organisation’s brand and social media strategy
• Scheduling social media posts using applications such as Buffer
• Managing a budget to be spent on promoting social media posts and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising
• Keeping track of data and analysing the performance of social media campaigns
• Meeting with clients and other stakeholders (such as social media influencers). These meetings may involve pitching potential marketing campaigns.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of demonstrated success managing social media platforms or relevant content marketing experience
• Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication or any related field
• Track record of crafting engaging content that align with customer trends and market changes to interest and engage people.
• Experienced with Google Analytics and Buffer
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Tiktok, YouTube and other social media best practices
• Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
• Must be a Creative with an eye for detail
• Must be a Strong storyteller
• Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
• Good understanding of social media KPIs and Metrics
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Proven skill in learning social media trends, identifying new social media tools and finding real-time online conversations
• Organizational, problem solving and Analytical skills
• An ability to multitask, to work on a number of projects at once and meet deadlines
