Job summary
The Senior Marketer/Public Relations Officer will lead the development and execution of high-impact marketing and public relations strategies to strengthen the company’s brand, drive sustainable growth, and enhance public trust. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capability, responsible for overseeing brand positioning, customer acquisition initiatives, media relations, and corporate communications in line with fintech industry standards and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities:
Marketing & Growth:
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company’s business and growth objectives.
- Drive large-scale customer acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives across digital and offline channels.
- Oversee social media strategy, website performance, content marketing, email campaigns, and paid advertising.
- Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Set marketing KPIs, monitor performance, and present detailed campaign performance and ROI reports to management.
Public Relations (PR):
- Lead the company’s public relations strategy to strengthen brand reputation and credibility.
- Oversee the drafting and distribution of press releases, corporate announcements, and media communications.
- Build, manage, and maintain senior-level relationships with media houses, journalists, influencers, regulators, and strategic partners.
- Manage public communications, corporate messaging, and reputation management initiatives.
- Lead crisis communication planning and execution, ensuring clear, consistent, and compliant messaging across all channels.
Brand & Communications:
- Own and enforce brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all marketing and communication materials.
- Lead and coordinate high-profile promotional events, product launches, and integrated campaigns.
- Work closely with Product, Customer Support, Compliance, and Management to ensure accurate, compliant, and aligned messaging.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, stakeholder meetings, and public engagements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ proven experience in marketing, public relations, or corporate communications, preferably within fintech, technology, or financial services.
- Strong strategic understanding of digital marketing, brand management, and media relations.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Solid understanding of fintech products, financial services, and regulatory-sensitive communications.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, lead initiatives, manage multiple projects, and deliver results under pressure.
- Strategic leadership and decision-making skills
