Job summary

We are seeking a creative Community Engagement Specialist to be the voice of our brand online. You will engage users across social media, spark conversations, build trust, and run campaigns that drive app downloads, engagement, and community growth.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with users across social media channels (comments, DMs, groups, forums, hashtags).
  • Drive conversations that boost brand visibility, app awareness, and downloads.
  • Respond to inquiries, feedback, and mentions promptly and professionally.
  • Plan and execute interactive content such as polls, Q&As, challenges, contests, and giveaways.
  • Identify opportunities to join trending conversations relevant to our audience.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align community engagement with campaigns.
  • Track and report engagement metrics, including community growth, interaction rates, and conversions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers, micro-communities, and brand advocates.
  • Share insights from community interactions to improve product, marketing, and user experience.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in social media management, community engagement, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of social platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube) and community-building best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to write engaging, on-brand copy.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to start and sustain conversations.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for digital communities, apps, and user engagement.


Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience running social campaigns that drove measurable user growth.
  • Basic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools) to create visuals.
  • Understanding of app marketing and user acquisition strategies.
  • Experience in a startup or tech environment.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout, etc.).
