Job summary

Afri Med Connect, a healthcare-focused company specializes in virtual administrative support for medical professionals, assisting with patient communication, appointment scheduling, EMR updates, and insurance coordination, needs a Marketer and Medical Sales Specialist (US Healthcare Market) who has a clear American accent and experience in sales to join their team. The Medical Sales Specialist will work closely with healthcare professionals and organisations to promote, sell, and provide consultations on products and services offered by Afri Med Connect.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, conducting sales presentations, developing sales plans, and overseeing the end-to-end sales process.
  • Educating healthcare sectors about Afri VA Hub’s solutions
  • Identifying new opportunities to grow and expand the client base.
  • Pitching Afri Med Connect to US healthcare organisations through cold and warm outreach, primarily via email and phone calls. 


Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in Medical Sales, with a focus on promoting healthcare-related services and solutions.
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively connect with clients and understand their needs.
  • Background in Medicine or familiarity with healthcare workflows, including experience in hospital sales, is required.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and generating sales reports is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage and expand client portfolios, with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, exhibiting time management and self-motivation skills.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field is an advantage.
  • A clear American accent and prior experience selling to US-based companies or healthcare organisations are essential for this role.
  • Be comfortable speaking with decision-makers such as practice owners, office managers, administrators, and healthcare executives.
