Creative Strategist
Job summary
We are hiring a Creative Strategist (Social Media Content & Ad Creatives) to own our entire content marketing system. This role is for someone who deeply understands hooks, angles, copywriting, Nigerian buyer psychology, and especially how to create creatives that make people comfortable paying before delivery.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Own creative strategy across all platforms
- Research competitors weekly using Meta Ads Library, TikTok & Instagram Reels.
- Develop hooks, angles, and content themes based on buyer psychology
- Create payment-before-delivery first creatives (trust, reassurance, process transparency)
- Write high-converting copy: Hooks, Primary texts, Captions, Soft objection-handling copy
- Plan and manage weekly and monthly content calendars
- Determine what content is: TOF, MOF, BOF
- Brief graphic designer/video editor clearly
- Upload content and manage posting schedules
- Identify high-performing creatives for ad testing
- Supply ad-ready creatives weekly to the Media Buyer
Requirements:
- Proven experience creating conversion-focused content for Nigerian audiences
- Strong copywriting skills (hooks, persuasion, objection handling)
- Deep understanding of payment-before-delivery objections in Nigeria
- Must understand hooks, angles, and creative strategy, not just posting
- Ability to use Meta Ads Library confidently for research and inspiration
- Ability to explain why a creative will convert
- Familiar with TOF/MOF/BOF content structuring
- Comfortable working with performance expectations, not vanity metrics
