We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a beauty retail company, for the position of a senior commercial manager who will be responsible for driving all revenue-generating activities across the company’s omni-channel ecosystem, including e-commerce, physical retail, wholesale (B2B), and rapid delivery partnerships. This role consists of the end-to-end commercial engine, covering commercial strategy, brand portfolio growth, buying, merchandising leadership, revenue planning, pricing, promotions, and trade execution. The ideal candidate will ensure the company consistently delivers the right brands, products, pricing, and go-to-market strategy to win in the fast-growing beauty retail landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Build annual and quarterly commercial plans, including category forecasts, pricing structure, brand expansion strategy, and promotional roadmap.
  • Identify new commercial opportunities such as category expansion, new market segments, and international brand onboarding framework.
  • Lead the company’s buying strategy across skincare, makeup, fragrance, haircare, devices, and speciality categories.
  • Oversee demand forecasting, assortment planning, seasonal curations, and open to buy investments.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, margin structures, exclusivity rights, pricing payment terms, JBPs, and marketing support.
  • Drive B2B commercial strategy across pharmacies, beauty supply stores, supermarkets, salons, spas, hotels, and corporate gifting.
  • Work closely with the operations department to ensure order fulfilment, service delivery, and SLA compliance.
  • Drive commercial performance across Glovo, Chowdeck, Bolt Food, and other rapid-delivery partners while collaborating with Q-commerce partnership executives to secure incentives, enhance category visibility, and expand partner presence.
  • Maintain real-time dashboards on category performance, brand performance, inventory health, and profitability KPIs.
  • Align promotional calendars and stock readiness for key commercial periods like Black Friday, Pink Friday, Valentine’s, Christmas, major brands' launches, and exclusives.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management



Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, economics, finance, supply chain management, retail management, or a related commercial field.
  • 5–8+ years’ experience in beauty retail, FMCG, or e-commerce.
  • Background in buying, merchandising, category management, or commercial strategy.
  • Proven record of driving revenue growth and margin optimisation.
  • Advanced understanding of pricing strategy, competitive benchmarking, and product lifecycle management.
  • Ability to optimise product mix across channels to boost sales and profitability.
  • Ability to design and execute commercial strategies that drive sales, profitability, and market expansion.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
  • Skilled in developing revenue models, forecasting, and P&L optimisation.
  • Leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, BI tools, sales reporting, margin analysis, trend identification, dashboards, KPIs, sales targets, forecasting, revenue planning, and profitability analysis.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, physical stores, wholesale distribution, rapid delivery/Q-commerce channels and retail merchandising.
  • Knowledge of product assortment planning, Open-to-Buy (OTB) management, demand forecasting, inventory planning, seasonal range building, SKU selection, purchase orders, and procurement budgets.
  • Understanding of catalogue management, content quality, pricing, promotions, order fulfilment, brand performance evaluation, and onboarding new brands across multiple sales channels.
