Job summary

We are seeking a reliable and organized Store Manager to oversee the restaurant’s store and inventory operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock, ensuring proper storage of food and supplies, and maintaining accurate inventory records to support smooth restaurant operations. The Store Manager will monitor stock levels, receive and inspect deliveries, and ensure that all items are stored according to food safety and storage standards. The role also involves issuing supplies to kitchen and service departments, tracking usage, and preventing waste, loss, or shortages. The ideal candidate will work closely with the kitchen, purchasing team, and management to ensure that the restaurant always has the necessary ingredients and supplies to operate efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily store and inventory operations.
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming food supplies and materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock reports.
  • Ensure proper storage of food items and supplies according to safety standards.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or reorder needs.
  • Issue supplies to kitchen and restaurant departments as required.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits.
  • Prevent waste, theft, and stock damage.
  • Maintain clean and organized storage areas.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and management on procurement needs.

Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2–4 years of experience in storekeeping or inventory management, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
  • Basic knowledge of food storage and safety standards.
  • Good record-keeping and organizational skills.
  • Ability to use inventory systems or basic computer software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accountability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
