Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of cost analysis based on the architectural drawings, engineering estimates, materials required, and labor involved.
• Preparation of cost plans to enable design teams to produce practical designs for construction projects, which involves liaising with architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Preparing contract documents including bills of quantities.
• Maintain and implement the construction budget for each project
• Negotiate prices with suppliers, and research new materials for design and cost savings. Develop and implement new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions.
• Leverage technology, safety measures, and information sharing to increase productivity
  

Requirements:

• HND/BSc in Quantity Surveying
• Certified by the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) is an added advantage
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
