Project Supervisor

Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

• Prepares budgets and time schedules for Projects.
• Prepares Project Design Drawings, Shop Drawings, and “As Built Drawings
• Ensure Proper handling of Company Tools and Equipment, as well as Maintenance.
• Reads and understands Contract Documents

Financial Management:

• Monitors and controls allotted Resources for effective, efficient, and timely service delivery.
• Adheres strictly to Cost Monitoring Procedure.
• Liaises with the Superior / General Manager to ensure the provision of necessary resources for Project Delivery

Project/Site Coordination:

• Provides Technical Evaluation of Sub-contractors and commercial inputs.
  
• Attends site meetings with Clients and other Contractors on site.
  
• Ensures compliance with and implementation of Quality Control procedures for all incoming materials.
  
• Delegates authority and ensures subordinates are adequately engaged.
  
• Supervise the Technician and Sub-Contractors on site during Installation.
  
• Ensures cordial relationships with Clients.

Project Reporting:

• Ensures regular preparation and submission of project progress reports in the agreed format and at the agreed time.
  
• Creates effective communication and feedback systems for interfaces

Project Monitoring:

• Monitors the progress of Projects and resolves all Project matters in a timely manner
  
• Measures Performance of Subordinates

Project Implementation:

• Manages unforeseen crises to ensure successful Project execution

Project Design:

• Develops and supervises the drafting of Drawings for Specific Projects
  
• Develops Bill of Quantities for Projects from shop drawings and from Consultant / Client drawings for the purpose of tendering.

Tendering:

• Assists in Tendering Processes.
  
• Provide Technical Support to the Proposal and Business Development Team

Requirements:

• BSc./B.Tech/B.Eng  Electrical Engineering 
• Minimum 6 years post-qualification experience in the Power and electrical field.
