We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Project Manager to oversee multiple programmes for a small UK-based NGO focused on youth development, creative enterprise, and community impact. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and coordination skills, be able to manage several ongoing projects remotely, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and outcomes are achieved. You will work closely with project coordinators and the executive team to monitor delivery, track progress, and maintain high standards across all activities. This is a remote role for someone based in Nigeria who can work confidently and independently while aligning with UK working hours.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each one meets agreed objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including deliverables, milestones, and reporting schedules.
- Coordinate closely with project coordinators handling fieldwork, ensuring proper implementation and documentation.
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the executive team.
- Track project performance against key indicators and milestones.
- Compile reports, case studies, and data summaries for funders and internal records.
- Identify challenges and propose timely solutions to keep projects on track.
- Supervise project coordinators and support staff, ensuring clear communication and task accountability.
- Facilitate regular check-ins and virtual meetings to review progress.
- Maintain effective communication with UK management and international partners.
- Support budget tracking and expenditure reviews for all active projects.
- Ensure procurement and spending are in line with project guidelines and donor expectations.
- Flag discrepancies or risks early and suggest corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate project records, digital files, and trackers (One Drive, Asana or SharePoint).
- Standardise reporting templates and systems for consistency across projects.
- Contribute to the development of internal processes to improve efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Development Studies or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project or programme management, preferably within NGOs, creative industries, or youth-focused initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams remotely.
- Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication and reporting skills.
- High level of organisation, initiative, and problem-solving ability.
- Strong familiarity with project management tools (Trello, Asana, Notion, or Microsoft Project).
- Good understanding of monitoring, evaluation, and impact reporting.
- Financial awareness, including basic budget tracking and reporting.
- Able to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Experience working on international or donor-funded projects (desirable).
- Knowledge of youth development, education, or creative sector programmes (desirable).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and ability to work effectively in a fully remote setup.
