Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other workers on the same project
- Choose subcontractors and delegate their responsibilities
- Responsible for any delays, emergencies, and problems that can arise
- Comply with safety and building codes as well as legal requirements
- Report project progress and budget to the client
- Explain contract and technical matters to others in a clear manner
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, along with work timetables
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in construction science, construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of project management experience in construction, design, or a related industry.
- A project management certification
- Portfolio of completed projects.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong ability to plan, prioritize, and manage complex schedules and budgets.
- Quick and effective decision-making skills to address unexpected challenges
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
